Mid-City GO! Free On-Demand Shuttle Service for City Heights Residents Is Here

City Heights CDC thanks everyone who attended the Mid-City GO! Community Shuttle launch and press conference. Special thanks to Council Member Sean-Elo Rivera (D9) and Councilmember Stephen Whitburn (D3), our partners, North Park Main Street, Via Transportation, Clean Mobility Options (CMO), California Climate Investments (CCI), and the State of California Energy Commission for partnering with us to launch the first-ever eco-friendly shuttle service connecting the City Heights and North Park areas.

Making Transportation Convenient and Efficient in Mid-City

City Heights and North Park residents now have access to Mid-City GO!—a free, on-demand shuttle service designed to enhance mobility in the Mid-City area. This pilot program focuses on serving residents with limited transportation options, providing a safe, accessible, and reliable way to navigate the neighborhood. By integrating with the local transit system, Mid-City GO! makes it easier for community members to connect to public transportation across San Diego. In addition to improving mobility, this service reduces greenhouse gas emissions, boosts foot traffic, strengthens the local economy, and lowers transportation costs—helping to improve the overall quality of life for residents.
